The purpose of the program is to support States and Tribes with implementing youth suicide prevention and early intervention strategies for individuals up to age 24. Eligibility is statutorily limited to States/Territories; public organization or private non-profit organization designated by a State or Indian Tribe; Federally recognized Indian Tribe, Tribal organization, or an Urban Indian Organization.
