Privacy Policy
GrantsRadar does not collect or store personal information. This page describes what data is (and is not) stored, and which third-party services are involved.
1. Personal information
This site has no user accounts, no login, no contact form, and does not collect any of the following:
- Name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying information
- Organization name, address, or other indirectly identifying information
- Advertising or behavioral tracking cookies
2. Browser-side storage (localStorage)
For usability, the following is stored only in your browser and never transmitted to any server:
- Filter selections: your org type / sector / use / deadline / sort choices (for auto-restore on return)
- Wizard completion flag: a boolean to skip the first-visit wizard on subsequent visits
- Read grant IDs: the IDs of grants you've opened (for the "Show unread only" feature)
You can clear this anytime via your browser's "Clear site data" setting, or via the in-site "Reset" buttons.
3. Third-party services
3.1 GitHub Pages
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub's standard server logs (IP address, User-Agent, referrer) may be recorded by GitHub. See GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
3.2 Cloudflare Workers (optional feature)
Only when you use the wizard's free-text input, the text is sent through a Cloudflare Worker to the Anthropic Claude API to map your description to filter values. The text is processed in transit and never persisted by the Worker. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
3.3 grants.gov public API
All listings come from the grants.gov public API, operated by the US federal government. Browsing this site does not send any user information to grants.gov.
4. Analytics
No analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) are currently installed. If we ever add analytics, we will use a cookie-less, anonymized service (e.g., Cloudflare Web Analytics) and update this page.
5. Disclaimer
- Listings are mechanically organized from public grants.gov data.
- AI summaries may contain errors. Final eligibility and award decisions are made solely by the issuing federal agency. Always verify on the official announcement.
- We assume no liability for direct or indirect damages arising from use of this site.
