The purpose of this program is to provide training and technical assistance, mentoring, and ongoing support for healthcare professionals in general health and behavioral health settings to increase their capacity to identify and treat substance use disorders, especially opioid and alcohol use disorders. Eligible applicants are domestic public and private nonprofit entities, which can include professional organizations included in the MATE Act.
